New students joining the International Foundation Year programme will have the opportunity to be nominated for one of 24 High Achiever and Merit Scholarships, saving up to £10,000 on tuition fees. These scholarships are available exclusively to students progressing from the International Study Centre to undergraduate degrees at the University of Surrey from autumn 2019.
The High Achiever and Merit Scholarships are awarded to selected high-achieving students progressing to degree pathways in Business, Engineering or Life Sciences after successfully completing their studies at the International Study Centre.
The awards and scholarships open to students progressing to the University are as follows:
High Achiever Awards:
- £10,000 x 3, to the top 3 Engineering and Physical Sciences students
- £8,000 x 3, to the top 3 Business, Economics, Law and Social Sciences students
- £8,000 x 3, to the top 3 Life Sciences students
- £5,000 x 5, to the next best 5 Engineering & Physical Sciences students
- £3,000 x 5, to the next best 5 Business, Economics, Law and Social Sciences students
- £3,000 x 5, to the next best 5 Life Sciences students
