"I really loved Surrey at the start, and I still do. I love how the classes are small and it helped you integrate into university life. My favourite part is that it’s a part of the university and in most foundation courses it’s an into programme, which is a different building, but you are part of the university from the start.
Studying in Surrey has helped me have new experiences that will help me in the future. It has helped me get used to university life, and it’s using my way to the university, and the undergraduate course. The experiences and the opportunities that I have had here, especially getting to meet different people from around the world, will help me later on in my work. I would recommend students to study at Surrey, because from the start you are part of the university and you get to know everyone from different majors."

"In my work as an academic I do anything from managing our taught postgraduate programmes through to writing research publications on some interesting and also sometimes quite eccentric pieces of research work that I and my colleagues have carried out. To see students learning, then going out into industry and thriving. It's really rewarding to see on LinkedIn how some of my past students have got on since graduation. We need radio engineers. There is a great skills shortage in this area, and we see this clearly not just because our graduates are finding jobs but because the industry is also coming to us for help in developing their continuing professional development in the area. For me Surrey has always been a University that teaches with the end vocation in mind. For that reason it delivers both knowledge and professional skills to its students."
